Micro Farm Control System
Grovero is a Dutch company that developed MiniGro - an innovative automated microfarm for growing fresh greens indoors, year-round. After creating an initial prototype, Grovero was looking for a development partner to help turn it into a production-ready product that meets all relevant technical and certification standards. They partnered with ASN Plus.
At the start of our collaboration, we analyzed Grovero’s requirements and defined the system architecture. Together, we selected the key components - including the main controller, communication module, and various sensors and actuators. ASN Plus then designed and developed the complete control electronics and embedded software, enabling full automation of the microfarm and seamless connectivity with Grovero’s cloud platform.
The control unit manages the microfarm’s main processes such as irrigation, ventilation, and lighting, while monitoring environmental conditions like temperature, humidity, and water quality. It operates with wireless connectivity, provides a local configuration interface, and securely exchanges data with Grovero’s server for analysis and optimization.
We continue to cooperate with Grovero, extending functionality and refining the system as new customer needs and features emerge.
